This is a map started nearly a year ago by Brett and Sanzo with some small contributions from others. I came on board a little later to join in the project, so here it is:

In an industrial area of an urban town in the north of France the CLA terrorists have occupied the water treatment works and have been planning to poison the water in order to control the local area. The RVSF are fighting back with the aim to remove them and put an end to the area being a risk in the future.

hi jiba

I like very some parts from this map, mostly the water thing and the look around in the middle of the map.

And the part with the corrugated iron roof is well done !

In my opinion, there are one or two textures too much for ceiling and roofs.

And the map is perhaps once or twice too much increased. (look the minimap) TAB

Nice that you have a story for your map ;-)

When i doesn't see the map or the name from, then it sounds like a desert story. I haven't a better idea for you, in this case a power supply or a transport problem story match more the industrial theme.

Overview
Wow. It's a very nice packed in little map, but not in the crammed, small way, in the different ideas, textures, layout, the whole concept and idea generally. I really like this just in the sense that it looks like it has been thought out properly, the theme and the attempt at said theme works, and the usage of textures, mapmodels ( except for maybe those two bullets in one of the locked out sewer areas :lol: ) and how there are no huge bugs or bad places I can spot.

General Theme/Concept
I just love it.. the whole river/sewer throughout the map, yet industrial look, just <3. And I think you all did it great. I love those little features like the bridges, the wire bridge room with the hole, and especially that fence that shows you whats going on in the other path. The only thing I think is sorta a one-off is the iron roof, the only part in the map with any idea like that.

Layout
Apart from the bases having 4 and about 6 entrances each (which isn't a plus for me) the map doesn't favour one way or another because most other rooms have 3 entrances or more meaning you're bound to see someone everywhere you go. That's a sweet idea how that tunnel goes from one end of the map to the other.. a bit narrow in the sense of gameplay but great nevertheless :D Taking one path from one end to the other (minus the middle tunnel) takes you through small corridors and medium/large rooms apiece, meaning it's any weapons' game. It's up and down all over the place and I love it.

Textures
Just fine. There are a hell of a lot of textures used but they all look great with the presented theme. I think some of the vent textures stand out a bit too much but otherwise they look great.

Detail
Detail is fine for most rooms.. especially with a map like this, with so many textures and that river, any detail that happens to be missing isn't noticed much. There are a few corridors that I think are just too plain or walls that are just plain solid, or also, coming back to that room with the iron roof building, too empty. There is so much in the map, then I enter a room with plain floor and a square playing area seems dull.

Other Comments
Ok, the name is french, but combined with the beta1.0 it took me ages to type :) I love, again, the little bullets in the tunnel easter egg. gg and good map.

extra-edit: as for other entities, I think there are too many health packs and needs to be 1/2 more grenade spawns :lol: - entstats also disappointed me showing 0 FFA spawns.

Oh cmon r4zor, that's not even close to even practising essay writing. I'm pretty sure essays are not broken up into 2 sentence paragraphs with headings ;)
Anywho,

A extraordinary map Jiba, Brett and Sanzo. Im pretty sure R4zor has said everything that needs to be said. But I will just say I love
the balance between detail and layout. Neither lacks, nor is to overdone.

When i typed /map ac_industrialisies_beta0.1 in-game, i just said Woaaah
I liked the map so much, well detailed, very good layouts and the theme is great!
Tbh, i think this is the best map in AC, it should be defintly an official map.

Good job guys! waiting for other maps :)
